The "Cozumel Photo Shootout" is a photographic meeting organized to: promote the encounter among photographers of all levels, professional and amateurs, to show the natural beauties of Cozumel Island. Considering the following rules:

1. "Cozumel Photo Shootout" will be held in Cozumel Island from November 15th to 20th , 2011.
2. The "Cozumel Photo Shootout" is an event to capture images of Cozumel’s terrestrial and aquatic biodiversity and lanscape.
3. The participants will be conducted by local experts on land and underwater expeditions designed by and for photographers.
4. The format will be digital at the highest possible resolution for display on a large screen. If the photographer uses film, he / she will have to handle the images in digital format.
5. Photographers will submit all the photographic images every day to the Organizers. A maximum of 4 Gb per expedition will be allowed for each participant.
6. The participants may submit up to 3 photos per category to present to the jury. The photographs may not be edited or altered in any way.
7. The rights of the images belong to the photographer and will share the rights at no cost with the organizing committee, sponsors and the Cozumel Promotion Board.
8. The photographic equipment and its safety will be responsibility of each participant. Neither the organizers, service providers nor the Hotel Presidente InterContinental will be liable for any damage or loss.
